The 11th Asian Workshop on Micro/Nano Forming Technology (AWMFT 2018)
November 4-7, 2018 Yunlin, Taiwan
The Asian Micro/Nano Forming Technology Workshop (AWMFT) is a part of an exchange program organized by CSTP (China Society for Technology of Plasticity), JSTP (Japan Society for Technology of Plasticity), KSTP (Korean Society for Technology of Plasticity), and TSTP (Taiwan Society for Technology of Plasticity) .
The workshop provides a chance for academics, researchers, and engineers to meet and exchange information on all aspects of micro/nano forming technology. The 1st workshop was held in 2007 simultaneously with the 57th Japanese Joint Conference for the Technology of Plasticity in Hokkaido, Japan. The 2nd workshop was in 2009 simultaneously with the 11th Chinese Annual Conference for the Technology of Plasticity, which is one of the biggest domestic conferences on technology of plasticity and metal forming in China. The 3rd workshop was in Jeju Island, Korea in 2010. The 4th was in 2011 in Toyohashi, Japan. The 5th was in 2012 in Harbin, China. The 6th was in 2013 in Jeju, Korea. The 7th was in 2014 in Taipei, Taiwan. The 8th was in 2015 in Nagano, Japan. The 9th was in 2016 in Jinan, China. The 10th was in 2017 in Pohang, Korea.
This year, TSTP will organize the 11th workshop in National Formosa University in Yunlin County, Taiwan.
A special session in honor of Professor Rong-Shean Lee
Dr. Rong-Shean Lee is the Distinguished Professor at the National Cheng Kung University. He is the Honorary President of Taiwanese Society of Plasticity Technology (TSTP). Professor Lee authored and co-authored over hundred papers with over 1,000 citations worldwide on all aspects of metal forming and material processing. We will welcome contributions on all aspects of mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering and cross-discipline innovative engineering.
Special issue "Metal Micro-forming" for participants in AWMFT2018 Professor Ken-ichi MANABE is a guest editor for the special issue “Metal Micro-forming” in the Journal Metals (ISSN 2075-4701). He invites all participants in AWMFT 2018 to contribute the full length paper related to Micro forming to this a special issue.
The journal has currently impact factor (IF) of 1.984.
